In celebration of Black Women’s Appreciation Day, join the Center on Faith and Justice and the Georgetown University Women’s Center for an evening with the Very Rev. Dr. Kelly Brown Douglas, Dean of the Episcopal Divinity School at Union Theological Seminary. The Very Rev. Dr. Kelly Brown Douglas will explore the role of Black women in the church followed by a moderated discussion with Rev. Ebony Grisom.

The Very Rev. Dr. Kelly Brown Douglas is Dean of the Episcopal Divinity School at Union Theological Seminary and serves as Canon Theologian of Washington National Cathedral.
Rev. Ebony Grisom is Interim Director of Protestant Christian Ministry at Georgetown University.
Rev. Jim Wallis is Chair in Faith and Justice at the McCourt School of Public Policy and the Director of the Georgetown University Center on Faith and Justice.

This event will take place in-person on Georgetown University’s main campus. All in-person attendees must either show a GUID or confirmation of their COVID attestation and event registration.
