Tours in French at the National Museum of African Art - Sunday, March 26

In celebration of the month of Francophonie, we are pleased to offer guided tours in French of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African Art (NMAfA).
Tours will be offered by NMAfA docents, Theresa Steverlynck and Candace LaRocca each of whom spent more than 15 years living or working in Africa!
Candace and Alice look forward to sharing with you their love for African art. The tour will include selected works from the NMAfA’s permanent collection, introducing you to a diverse group of works and historical time periods.
Scheduled dates and times are as follows:
Thursday, March 2nd: Noon to 1:30PM
Sunday, March 12th: 1:00PM – 2:30PM
Thursday, March 16th: Noon-1:30PM
Sunday, March 26th: 1:00PM – 2:30PM
Your guide will meet you at the Reception Desk on the Ground Level.
