About this event
We've got two lovely selections for our January release. For white, we've got 2022 San Benito County Chardonnay from Ryan Stirm of Stirm Wine Co. This is super lean, high-acid, un-oaked delicious Central Coast Chardonnay from an organic vineyard in San Benito County.
A really fun find for red as well. We were lucky enough to find some 2017 Alder Springs (Mendocino County) Counoise made by Ed Donovan of Boonville Road Wines. Alder Springs is an amazing site in Northern Mendocino County, renowned for its unique plantings and organic farming practices. This is only the second time we've release Counoise, a rare grape even in its home country of France. I think of it as a bit more rustic Pinot Noir, very smooth but with lovely red fruit, a bit more bramble, and a touch of acid.
Come out to American Giant next Thursday to try these wines and a host of prior selections. They've generously offered 20% off in-store shopping, and folks who pick up their wine will have shipping refunded. Attendance is free, all are welcome, and the more the merrier! See you out there
