About this event
Greater Nashville is thriving, but many are being left behind. Housing prices are rising rapidly, and wages are not keeping up with growth. One fifth of our neighbors are living in poverty. 30 percent of those are children.
To move out of poverty, people need higher paying jobs with opportunities for growth. To land these jobs, they need the right post-secondary education, training or certification. That’s the key to increasing wages and stabilizing housing in our community.
For this month's tour we'll highlight how SNAP Employment & Training, along with their partners, are helping individuals receive education and training to obtain a livable wage that will set them on the path toward a stable, financially secure future.
