When & Where
Ekar Farm is a communal urban farm, inspired by Jewish values. We work to build community, provide experiential and environmental education, and grow sustainably produced fruits and vegetables, expanding access to those in need.
All proceeds directly benefit Ekar's programming, operations and vegetable donation to Jewish Family Service Weinberg Food Pantry, Metro Caring, Kavod Senior Living and SAME Cafe.
Ekar has engaged 8,500 community volunteers in growing and giving 65,000 pounds of urban organic vegetables to hunger relief agencies like the Jewish Family Service Weinberg Food Pantry and SAME Cafe feeding 6,500 people a month during our harvest season.
