Event description

Description

What promise does the #MeToo movement hold to spotlight sexual assault and harassment toward vulnerable LGBTQ communities? In a media environment focused on the stories of cisgender celebrities, who gets left behind? And how can individuals of non-conforming gender and sexual identity advocate for their own protections? them executive editor Meredith Talusan leads a conversation with Black Lives Matter co-founder and Marsha P. Johnson Institute Executive Director Elle Hearns; media host, organizer, and activist Aaryn Lang; and Inside/Out author and Food for Thot co-host Joseph Osmundson.
