Description

Touching the Earth: Embodied Awareness Practice and Mindfulness

A full-day experiential with Marlong Barrios Solano

Suggested contribution: $25-50 registration + teacher donation*

Mindfulness is a quality of peaceful presence, loving awareness and a “felt sense” of integration, connection and embodiment. The body is the first and most important foundation for the establishment of mindfulness. This workshop offers an opportunity for practicing mindfulness and clearing the mind via the vibrancy of the body’s sensations, spaciousness and peaceful embodied awareness. Using the gift of silence, guided meditations, gentle movement and touch, short discussions, and playful games, we will explore and inquire the spacious, relational and joyful quality of embodied awareness and lovingkindness.

This workshop is open to all levels of meditation practice and types of contemplative inquiry. Inquiries marlonb@unstablelandscape.net.
