About this event
In this cutting edge continuing education course, participants will learn the E3 model of care for tethered oral tissues. This includes relevant background information on how tethered oral tissues affect oral function from birth to maturity. The course format includes lecture, video/photograph examples, case studies, pre and post assessment activities, demonstrations, and hands-on application of techniques in an interactive atmosphere where questions and discussion are welcomed. This course is a specialty training that is targeted for the oral function professional including Speech-Language Pathologists and Assistants, Occupational Therapists and Assistants, Orofacial Myofunctional Therapists, and Lactation Consultants and Counselors. However, this training is appropriate for other professionals including Pediatricians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Dental Hygienists, Dentists and Assistants, Dietitians, Physical Therapists and Assistants, Early Intervention Specialists, Osteopaths, Otolaryngologists, Chiropractors, Applied Behavior Analysts, and Psychologists to learn about tethered oral tissues and make appropriate referrals. Participants who complete the training in its entirety with optional listing on the Chrysalis Orofacial website as a “TOTS: Tethered Oral Tissues Specialty Trained” professional. Participants who complete the training in its entirety will be granted permission to use and display “TOTS: Tethered Oral Tissues Specialty Training” logo, as a designation to the public of their completion of the training.
Cancellation Policy
Registrants may cancel their registration up to 7 days before the course start date to receive a 75% refund minus non-refundable eventbrite processing fee or their registration may be transferred to another participant or rescheduled to another course/date with at no additional charge, with written request and subject to availability. No-shows or cancellations received less than 7 days prior to the course are non-refundable, but can be rescheduled for a future course date or transferred to another participant with written request and subject to availability at no additional charge. Chrysalis Orofacial reserves the right to cancel any course at any time. Chrysalis Orofacial is not responsible for any expenses incurred by registrants (i.e. non-refundable travel arrangements).

This course is not approved for partial credit. Participants must attend the course in its entirety to receive continuing education units. All disciplines in attendance will receive a certificate upon completion of the course in its entirety for 14.5 hours of continuing education.
