The 2017 Toronto Women’s Entrepreneurship Forum

Presented by SheEO and sponsored by the City of Toronto, this event is aimed at early stage women-led ventures in Toronto who have an idea, have started a venture, are growing a venture or are contemplating starting a venture.

Session #1 - Finding the Right Funding for your Venture

Come with your questions on funding your Venture, and leave knowing which type of funding may be best suited for your needs and how to get started.

Session #2 - Support for your Venture: Incubators, Accelerators & Mentors

With so many business support initiatives out there, how do you know which program is right for you? In this session, learn the questions every entrepreneur should ask herself in determining the right incubator, accelerator and/or mentor to meet her business needs.

Session #3 - Mastering your SheEO application

This session will be a working session based on the SheEO application questions. You'll hear from Top 25 SheEO Ventures and get direct feedback, tips and coaching on how best to present you and your idea for maximum impact.

Session #4 - Moving Beyond the Status Quo: Introduction to the Feminist Business Model Canvas

Feminist business practice goes beyond conventional approaches to create a fair, diverse and inclusive enterprise and enterprise ecosystem. In this session, you will learn (relearn) what feminist values are, how and why to design businesses that are deliberately feminist, and how to leverage feminist business principles to amplify your enterprise's social or community impact.
