About this event
Toronto Health Datathon 2023 is open to students (graduate & undergraduate) pursuing degrees in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science or any related field, academics, clinicians, and professionals wishing to advance their skills in implementing ML models to solve real-world problems facing the Canadian Healthcare system.
Our vision is to encourage conversation around recent developments in ML, provide our attendees the opportunity to expand their network and gain exposure to new opportunities.
The event will involve keynotes and panel sessions featuring distinguished researchers, ML engineers, and data scientists.
This year, teams will have access to de-identified health-related datasets to work with and propose solutions to existing healthcare problems facing the Canadian Healthcare system. Participants will have exposure to a wide variety of topics within the field of ML applied to healthcare, become acquainted with cutting-edge research, and explore career opportunities.
