Finding yourself means fearlessly accepting yourself for exactly who you are. It means breaking out of the box life puts you in and living free from expectations. That’s exactly what Texas native Tori Allen is doing.
Tori Allen is one of Nashville’s most accomplished artists and fiddle players on the music scene today. Allen was recently on “The Imploding The Mirage” world tour with Vegas Indie rock band, The Killers. As a touring musician with The Killers, Tori sings background vocals, plays violin, as well as utility acoustic guitars, mandolin and some percussion. Just prior to joining on with The Killers in 2022, Tori was a band member and music director with Country newcomer, Ashland Craft, opening for Zac Brown Band's entire 2021 US stadium and amphitheater tour, "The Comeback Tour”. Although Allen finds herself sharing the stage with some of musics best, she also pursues her own original music and continues with full steam ahead in 2022 and into 2023.
Allen in her own right is a recording artist, songwriter, musician and multi instrumentalist, playing the mandolin, violin, viola, guitar and piano as well as singing background vocals in her own projects and with other artists globally. She has worked alongside artists such as The Killers, Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen, Mickey Guyton, Jimmie Allen, Morgan Wallen, Lainey Wilson, Ashland Craft, Lindsay Buckingham, Riley Green and many more. In 2021, Ashland Craft recorded one of Allen’s songs, “Day by Day”, cowritten by Corey Grogan-Wagar- which debuted on Crafts’ album “Traveling Kind”. Allen was also a background singer and also played viola, violin and mandolin on the master recording on its major release with Big Loud Records.
In her own original projects, Tori has found success opening for acts such as Jake Owen, Paula Nelson, Dillon Carmichael, Cole Swindell, Dierks Bentley, Randy Houser and countless others. Prior to accepting her current touring gig with The Killers, Allen was a house band member for the CMT Awards backing a plethora of artists with vocals and varying instruments from 2019 until 2021.
Tori Allen has been an artist and professional musician for over 16 years. Growing up as a classical violinist for most of her life, she was selected as a soloist performing at Carnegie Hall at the age of 18 in 2010. She would then attend The University of San Antonio as a double major in violin and viola before moving to Nashville, Tennessee shortly after in 2011 to pursue songwriting. Allen was brought to Nashville by opportunity on the corporate side of the music industry, working for Full Circle Music Publishing on Nashvilles' famed Music Row where she would the learn to hone her craft as a songwriter and learn about the music industry.
Not only is Tori’s music original, positive, upbeat, and fun, Allen is a true genre fusing genius. Tori Allen is making her own rules with music that speaks to multiple audiences from different genres of music including pop, country, americana and folk. She has a pop sound that is influenced by funk, country, soul, and ’50s & ’60s music. Most people describe Allen as a mixture between Sheryl Crow and Amy Winehouse with a twist of Macy Gray and Sam Cooke.
Tori’s most recent release, “Colors”, has garnered over 672k streams on Spotify alone. Follow online for more touring dates domestically in the USA and throughout Europe, UK and Norway.
