What should I wear?

Please wear natural fibers such as cotton or linen. Synthetic fabrics are not recommended for this activity. People usually wear jeans and a t-shirt or layers. There is a washroom where you can change.

Will safety glasses be provided?

Yes. We have special glasses for this class. Sometimes they fit over a student's existing frames. Sometimes they do not. It's helpful if you send me a message if you're planning to wear glasses.

Question 3

Can we have a different day or time? More students? A Party?

Accepted Answer

YES! Message me the date and time you're interested in and approx how many guests and we will set it up together.

Question 4

Do we get to take our projects home with us?

Accepted Answer

Usually your project will go into a kiln to cool off. Then it can be picked up (free) or shipped (for actual cost).

Parking/getting into building?

Street parking is free. Close walk to public transportation. Call or text to get into the building 773-888-1514

Question 6

Do we have to make a pendant?

Accepted Answer

yes and no. It has to be a small beginner project. The pendant could hang as an ornament or suncatcher, zipper pull, worry stone, decoration, plant orb, or lumpy marble. Some students come with very specific ideas and I urge you not to.
