Can I take my projects home at the end of class?

Accepted Answer

No. Your projects will need to cool off for approximately 12 to 36 hours. They will be available for pickup for free. Either in Avondale or streeterville. Delivery and shipping cost extra. They can be delivered for $5 to $10 depending on location. Shipping usually starts at $10.

Under any circumstances can you send us home with our projects at the end of class?

Yes, upon very rare request, projects are allowed to go home at the end of class.

Question 3

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

Please wear natural fibers such as cotton or linen. Synthetic fabrics are not recommended for this activity. People usually wear jeans and a t-shirt or layers. There are washrooms where you can change. Contacts are not recommended because dust could get stuck behind them. Wear at your own risk.

Question 4

Will safety glasses be provided?

Yes. We have special safety glasses for this class. We have pairs to wear individually and pairs that fit over the frame. (OTF) To ensure proper availability for glasses wearers, please send a message and let us know how many people in your group will be needing OTF safety glasses.

Question 5

How many students in the class?

Accepted Answer

Usually one or two. It is a multi-use space so there might be other people making projects in the room. For more students, please see the next few FAQ's.

Question 6

Do you have other techniques or projects available?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we also have beadmaking and slumping/fusing. You must make these plans in advance. The additional cost is $125 per person per technique. For beadmaking, you may choose to make beads or any of the projects listed in this pendant class. For slumping and fusing add the option of small dishes.

Can we add more students than two or have a party?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Send us a message with these three things: how many students, which techniques, and date and time. We will quickly set up a private link for you and your group. We have kitchen including the basics of fridge, water, oven, utensils, etc. Catering is available upon request.

Question 8

Do I have to make a pendant?

Accepted Answer

No. Your project could also be a suncatcher, rear view mirror decoration, holiday ornament, zipper pull. Or we can glue a pin or magnet to it instead of the loop. Some people choose to make a marble, however, it is not usually a very round marble, and more of a blob.

Can I give the class as a gift?

Accepted Answer

Yes of course. Send us a message letting us know how many people and how many projects. We can set up a private link. A gift certificate could also be provided in an email or sent in the regular mail upon request. Other gifts available upon for purchase to accompany gift certificates.

Question 10

Can I bring an aid or a friend?

Accepted Answer

Yes. An aid is free. A friend should pay for their seat.
