TORCH-FIRED ENAMEL FOR SUMMER EARRINGS: 2-WEEK WORKSHOP

Come play with color in this two-week beginner short session workshop and create fun, vibrant earrings reminiscent of the vibrancy of summer months! You will learn the fun process of torch-fired enameling: sifting colored glass powder onto a copper base and firing it to its melting point. We will make several pairs of earrings using round copper disks, practicing techniques like layering one or more colors and adding interest with stencils, glass rods, or flowers to achieve a unique, brilliant blend of color. Safety is paramount: N95 masks and safety glasses will be provided and required. Please come prepared with an old apron or shirt, closed-toed shoes, hair ties to secure long hair, and safety glasses that fit over your prescription glasses, if needed. (Ages 16+)

Materials Fee: Sterling Silver and Stones available to purchase.

Payment will be processed and is required at the time of registration. Students are considered registered when tuition is paid in full.

Refund only possible if student withdraws by phone or in writing at least 10 days prior to the first class— NO EXCEPTIONS. If a student registers online, they will receive a refund minus the online registration fee.

If the class is cancelled by EFC, a full refund will be given. Students will be notified of any scheduling changes. We will contact students if class is cancelled due to severe weather and a make-up class will be scheduled.

Gift certificates are available for classes.
