Think You’ve Got Game?!?

Let’s see if you can back it up and put your ping pong skills to the test at the second annual TopSpin Event

Come out and play in this epic tournament against your friends in the sports and entertainment industry, or just enjoy the party at this great event to raise money for educational charities in New York. Last year’s event raised over $80K, but to top that this year we’ve turned the event up a couple notches:

  • 240 player tournament across thirty tables (600+ guests overall)
  • Music by celebrity DJ D-Nice
  • Premium open bar and appetizers
  • An incredible silent auction
  • 25,000 square feet of beautiful loft space at 82 Mercer in SOHO

For the youth in under-served areas, the ball can bounce either way. Without adequate support, they won’t have the opportunity to reach their full potential. This is our chance to make a difference—all of the event’s proceeds will go to:

  • A Better Chance - Fayetteville-Manlius chapter
  • Liberty Leads
  • Pencils of Promise

Come share in the excitement and fun and help us Open Doors for Youth through Education!

Date: Wednesday, December 8, 2010
Time: Doors open at 6:00 PM
Tournament participants must check in by 5:45 PM.
Admission: $225.00 to play and $100.00 to party
Tickets must be purchased online, printed and presented upon entry to event.

The Charities

A BETTER CHANCE Fayetteville-Manlius has provided ambitious young women of high school age from the New York City area the opportunity to attend Fayetteville-Manlius High School while living in a supportive environment. After living in the ABC house and attending Fayetteville-Manlius High School for four years, ABC graduates are well prepared for college. F-M ABC alumnae, 72 of them as of 2010, have become successful as a result of the strength and quality of their education and the support they received as ABC scholars.
LIBERTY LEADS is a college preparation program for diverse underserved youth in grades 5—12 from public and parochial schools. It provides an enriched array of academic, social, personal development and leadership classes and advisements to over 300 young people annually.
PENCILS OF PROMISE partners with local communities to build schools and increase educational opportunities in the developing world. Pencils of Promises focuses on early education, high potential females and empowering a new generation of passionate young leaders.

* The benefiting charities are a nonprofit, nongovernmental organization, tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
