The Topsoe Steam Reformer Symposium 2019 teaches you how to perform a "health check" that will help you keep your reformer performing at its best. You will also learn the latest development within steam reforming technology such as burner and tube design.

Studies show that knowledge is the single most important parameter for plant efficiency and reliability. The Topsoe Reformer Symposium 2019 gives you this knowledge by making our vast experience and scientific know-how available to you by hosting this 3-day reformer symposium. Part of the symposium will be a knowledge sharing session where plant owners will share operational challenges.

Course Activities

During the course, the following activities will be included:

  • Topsoe will host a welcome dinner on day 1 (June 24)
  • Schmidt & Clemens will host a dinner on day 2 (June 25)
  • Lunch and coffee breaks through out event days will be provided (breakfast included in hotel)
  • Visit steam reformer tube manufacturing factory by Schmidt & Clemens
  •  Reformer development within burners by Greens Combustion

Date: June 24 - 26, 2019 (will finish at 2.00pm on the  26th June)

Dress Code: Business Casual

Dress Code for Plant Visit: Long pants, covered shoes and safety glasses

Hotel Accomodation

Topsoe has secured rooms at the Le Meridien Hotel Putrajaya at a special rate.

The rate per night is as below:

Signature Room Single with ONE breakfast : RM360 nett per room per night

Signature Room Twin with TWO breakfast: RM410 nett per room per night

Once you have filled out the registration from online you will receive a confirmation email which will include a booking form to the hotel. In order to secure your room, you need to fill this out with stating our Group reservation Code: Haldor Topsoe and send it to the hotel reservation team (

  • Deadline for reservation is May 15, 2019
  • Payment for the hotel accommodation will take place on departure



In order to guarantee your reservation in connection with the hotel booking, you will be asked to inform your credit card details. Your credit card will not be charged prior to your arrival and will only be used to guarantee your accommodation. you will need to present the same credit card when you check in. Please note that if you do not show up at the hotel on the day of arrival, a cancellation fee equivalent to the full prebooked stay will apply as per hotel policy.
