Objectives: At the end of the presentations, learners will be able to:

  • Identify evidence based strategies to provide safe and effective treatment of chronic pain in cancer survivors

  • Demonstrate understanding of current standard of care for Pressure Injury (PI) preventive measures

  • Describe the overlapping phases of wound healing and the key cells involved in each phase

  • Discuss the types of support surfaces recommended for patients/residents at moderate to high risk for Pressure Injury development per the Braden Scale

  • Articulate key risk factors for development of IAD and why consideration of risk is important
