Description

Learn best practices for attracting bees, butterflies, moths and beneficial wasps to your own piece of paradise. This talk by Nanette O'Hara includes a recommended “Pollinator Palette” of specific wildflowers, trees and shrubs for West Central Florida landscapes. Florida alone has 316 native bee species – come learn how even tiny urban habitats can help support these small but mighty engines of food and flower production!

About the speaker:

Nanette O'Hara has been a Hillsborough County Master Gardener Volunteer since 2012. Her interests include landscaping with native plants and shade gardening. She is an avid nature photographer and uses many of her own photos in her gardening talks.
