Event description

Description

This webinar series walks you through all the steps necessary to effect a successful career transition – whether that’s landing a job skillfully using tools like LinkedIn, launching your career after college or grad school, making a pivot midway through your career, returning to the job market after time out, or enhancing your professional growth in your current field. One participant called it “a blueprint for a strategic process to get from stuck to landed.”

Session 1 [Tuesday, April 21, 12:00-2:00 p.m. PST]: Career Assessment and Developing a Realistic Strategy

Session 2 [Thursday, April 23, 12:00-2:00 p.m. PST]: Sharpen Your Personal Narrative, Resume, and LinkedIn

Session 3 [Tuesday, April 28, 12:00-2:00 p.m. PST]: Exploding Your Network to Get into Interview Pools

Session 4 [Thursday, April 30, 12:00-2:00 p.m. PST]: Informational Meetings, Job Interviews, and Salary Negotiation

Participants will be sent a career assessment and skills worksheet to complete ahead of time, and each webinar will conclude with a half-hour live Q&A. The series includes 25 handouts, corresponding to all the steps in the career transition process (e.g., LinkedIn checklist, interview prep guide, etc.), and all handouts will be emailed to you shortly after you register.

In light of current challenges due to the COVID-19 crisis, we are offering this program free of charge.

The live webinar series is given by Elizabeth Atcheson, Career Coach with Blue Bridge Career Coaching. Based in Seattle, Elizabeth had a 25-year marketing career before becoming a career coach, and has been working with groups of Seattle University alumni for eight years to help them move their careers forward. She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology and an MBA from Stanford University.
