This 2 hour training session will teach students how to safely operate and understand the mechanics of the wood lathe. Accessories and tools associated with the lathe will be introduced and wood mounting options and project ideas will be demonstrated and discussed. All students will receive direct hands-on learning time with the lathe turning wood. This training is a prerequisite for future lathe specific classes or workshops. Due to the attention to detail needed for turning wood safely, class sizes are limited to 4 people.
