About Musical Theatre Ensemble

The Musical Theatre Ensemble program runs from September 13, 2022 - November 15, 2022 on Tuesday nights from 5:30-7:30pm. $320 program fee. (Fee is non-refundable once enrolled)

Our Musical Theatre Ensemble (MTE) classes will focus on each of the three main concentrations of musical theater; voice, dance, and acting. Great emphasis will be placed on recognizing the relevance of each discipline as it relates to musical theater and preparing students for auditions and musical theatre performances.

Each class period will be devoted to- 1) vocal development, 2) improving acting skills, 3) learning choreography; all to help students develop musical theatre skills. The culmination of this course will result with students gaining a broader understanding of musical theater from their participation in a fun and exciting musical theatre performance experience that will increase their abilities and help them to become well rounded performers.

About Triple Threat Ensemble

This is an audition-only program. Auditions are on a rolling basis. To express interest please email education@miltontheatre.com. (MUST AUDITION FIRST BEFORE SIGNING UP)

Act, Sing & Dance! Triple Threat Training Program is a 10-week program and runs from September 13, 2022 - November 15, 2022 on Tuesday nights from 4:30-5:30pm OR 7:30-8:30. $160 program fee.

A key term in musical theatre training is learning to be a ‘triple threat performer’, which means the ability to act, sing and dance to a high standard. The Triple Threat classes at the Milton Theatre bring these three disciplines together into a unified whole. The emphasis in these classes is to strengthen each of the elements equally to create a well-rounded Triple Threat performer. Only 10 students are accepted into the program each session.

To join the Milton Theatre's Triple Threat Training Program, students must be 6-14 years of age, pass the audition and be invited to register, and must be dual-enrolled in Musical Theatre Ensemble for that session. Email auditions to education@miltontheatre.com.

Fine Print & Policies

Please disclose any schedule conflicts prior to registration. Absences or tardiness could result in exclusion from performances.

All registration is nonrefundable.

Bring Jazz Shoes and wear danceable clothing. Costume requirement for shows: black jazz shoes, black jazz pants, branded shirt that is new each year.

Full rehearsal dress required starting with the first rehearsal. Not wearing proper dress will exclude cast member from rehearsal and will be counted as an absence.
