CALLING ALL VETERANS IN SOUTHWESTERN PA!
This is your chance to heard and to be part of a discussion that will shape how this region supports military men and women for years to come.
On three nights – Feb, 4, 8, 11th– we’re hosting a series of roundtable discussions to ask you, veterans and servicemembers in southwestern Pennsylvania, what you need and what you want to make your lives the best they can be. RSVP for session #1 here. Links to the other two sessions are below.
There are tons of agencies and organizations out there that provide services to veterans and military families, but it’s not 100% clear if these services are effective – or even needed.
Rather than assume we know what you need based on our experiences post-military, we want to hear from you. Whether jobs, education, healthcare or child care, we want to build a system that serves you from day one of your arrival in Pittsburgh, all the way through your lives and those of your family.
Our region has one of the largest populations of veterans in the country. Every day, additional servicemembers and veterans decide to call the Pittsburgh area their home. We need your help to give you the services and opportunities the veteran community needs to thrive in southwestern PA.
