Join us for a day of community, nature, music and art along the Little Miami River!

About this Event

Join us for a day of community, nature, music and art. We are pulling together our best artists, naturalists, musicians and foodies for a retreat at the river. Take a day for you. Bring a hammock, picnic blanket, journal, book, whatever helps you unwind. Bring your bike and take a break on the trail or head up to Fort Ancient and hike the Indian mounds and explore the museum, soon to be UNESCO World Heritage Site. Feeling adventurous, schedule a trip with Ozone Adventures. Limited tickets will be sold for this event! Proceeds from this event will go to the develompent of an ecosystem along the Little Miami River that will serve as a model for conservation education and a destination resource for schools and other community organizations.

Current Schedule includes:

10 am: Toby Christensen "Drum Church"

12:30: Greater Cincinnati Wild Ones Chapter: Wild Edibles hike and Forest Meditation with Janet Lasley

Plein air art demonstrations, massage and yoga offerings throughout the day from local Dayton/Cincinnati based yoga studios and teachers/therapists/artists

1-6: Live Music on the Rock Beach

Music all day long along the river, beach fire, riverside meal. Bring paddle boards, kayaks, floats and relax in the quiet water and enjoy the shows. Try out a paddle board on the river! There will be SUP yoga and paddle board play opportunities throughout the day.

Urban Greens Fireside Feast. Riverside, fireside, farm to table local meal served by served on the rock beach all day

Give Back!

Nature Education and Wilderness Cleanup

Love our land. Join local naturalists in rehabbing a 12 acre property along the river and bringing it back to health, removing invasive plants and trash, establishing pollinator gardens, eco-play, etc. Join students the University of Dayton and local high schools in this effort. Everything counts. Bring a trash bag, gloves and tools if you'd like to pitch in.

Tickets do not include: Fort Ancient, Ozone adventures (Camp Kern) or River float (Little Miami Canoe). Schedule separately with each organization.
