Get ready to kickstart your fitness journey and transform your life in 2025! Our 26-week programme is designed for women new to exercise, combining weight training and wellness practices to help you build strength, improve cardiovascular health, and boost overall wellbeing.

Throughout the course, you'll learn the fundamentals of weight training using machine weights, dumbbells, kettlebells, and bodyweight exercises. Our expert instructors will support you in mastering proper form and technique, empowering you to exercise independently and safely. You’ll not only build muscle but also understand how strength training can improve your body’s systems, including cardiovascular health, bone density, and overall vitality.

In addition to strength training, we’ll explore the importance of sleep hygiene, proper nutrition, and mental well-being. You’ll learn how to fuel your body for optimal performance, enhance recovery through better sleep, and manage stress effectively. Our holistic approach ensures you’re building healthy habits that support both your physical and mental health.

This programme is your opportunity to gain confidence, create lasting habits, and prioritize your health in a supportive environment. Join us and take the first step towards a stronger, healthier, and more confident you in 2025!

Frequently asked questions

Why is the program free?

All of our projects are free or super low costs. We're all about removing every barrier to movement and health for urban-dwelling women. We believe that a healthy and active lifestyle is every woman's right!

What do I need to bring with me?

We suggest you bring a bottle of water, a healthy energy-inducing snack and comfortable trainers with a firm flat base.

Can I bring a friend?

Absolutely, just sign them up on Eventbrite so we can keep track of numbers and accommodate everyone.

I haven't used weights before/ exercised in a while, is this for me?

That's not a problem at all. You're exactly who we're looking for. Our sessions are catered to women who are new to or moderately involved in exercise. You will be supported to do what you can!

I'm worried about coming alone, but I don't have anyone to attend with me

Many women start attending our sessions alone. We know that taking the first step by yourself can be hard but you will always be welcomed. We're a friendly bunch and all here to connect through movement and wellness, so give us a try.

If English is a barrier for someone interested in attending

We know many women who would benefit from our sessions, have limited English, the wellness element of our sessions is delivered in English, at present we do not have the support to deliver in other languages. However, all women are welcome to attend and will be supported to fully engage.

Can I come just for the weights sessions or do I need to participate in talking?

We operate an integrated model of wellness and physical activity. This involves communication throughout the sessions. We find that people get the best experience and outcomes from engaging with our combined approach. However, no-one is forced to talk, but we ask that everyone listens respectfully.
