Tommy Jonson + Joe Potter
Overview
Join Tommy Jonson and Joe Potter at The Holloway for a cosy evening of traditonal and original folk music.
Tommy Jonson is a singer, guitarist, and songwriter from the East of England whose music weaves soul and world influences into a folk sound that feels timeless yet uniquely his own.
With melodic guitar lines and emotive vocals reminiscent of artists such as Nick Drake and John Martyn, he draws inspiration from West African and South American traditions, infusing his work with a rhythmic and global sensibility while remaining rooted in authenticity and storytelling.
His songs move between tender inwardness and raw, heartfelt expression, holding feelings, thoughts, and lived experiences as he shares a message of self-embodiment, human connection, and the simple celebration of life.
