Tomato Growing 101: featuring Agroecology farm and Craig LeHoullier

Interested in growing your own tomatoes? Learn from the best! The Well Fed Community Garden and the NCSU Agroecology Farm are partnering for a day full of tomatoes!!
10:00am - 12:00 noon: Spend the morning at the Agroecology Farm with farm manager Alison Reeves and NCSU graduate students learning fundamentals of seed saving, planting, and grafting.
Location: 4400 Mid Pines Rd Raleigh, NC 27603
12:00 noon - 2:00 pm: Lunch on your own or pizza at the Well Fed Community Garden ($5).
2:00 pm - 4:00 pm: Spend the afternoon at the Well Fed Community Garden with NC tomato man Craig LeHoullier learning how to grow different varieties of tomatoes at home.

The NCSU Agroecology Farm aims to promote agroecology and sustainable food systems by providing a diversity of experiential learning opportunities for NC State and the broader community.
Craig LeHoullier is a gardener, author, and educator who loves sharing the joys of gardening with others. He has written two books on gardening and is the tomato adviser for the Seed Savers Exchange.
