About this event
The concert will feature some of Petty's beloved classics and some lesser known gems thrown in for good measure.
The Varsity will host this fantastic concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21. Doors and the Varsity Bar open at 6 p.m.
Klyma is a noted songwriter with 30 years and 10+ albums under his belt. He brings his show in from Boston, Massachusetts, where he gets entire theatres singing along with “American Girl,” “I Won't Back Down,” “You Got Lucky,” “Refugee” and the rest. Kylma is backed by an elite band from Central Illinois with years of rock'n'roll experience, and together they come to you as Greg Klyma and the Great Wide Open.
Tickets are $15 in advance and are available here at Eventbrite. They are not available in advance at the venue, but will be $20 at the doors when doors open at 6.
