ToastNAAAPsters - NAAAP plus Toastmasters Meeting
Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 6:15 PM to 7:45 PM (EST)
We meet to practice our public speaking and to support others in their skill development by providing feedback. The meeting is usually structured into sections devoted to prepared speeches, unprepared speeches, and the evaluation of those speeches.
Quotes from Toastmasters founder Ralph Smedley:
"We learn best in moments of enjoyment."
"The unprepared speaker has a right to be afraid."
"Faultfinding without suggestions for improvement is a waste of time."
"Whatever your grade or position, if you know how and when to speak, and when to remain silent, your chances of real success are proportionately increased."
