Toasting 5 Years: USGBC-NCC Silicon Valley Branch
Tuesday, May 14, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM (PDT)
San Jose, CA
Co-Chairs Monica Funston & Mike Foster welcome you to join us in celebration. Over the course of 5 years, the Silicon Valley Branch has provided scores of GBCI accredited presentations with titles like “Some Like Hot, some like it Cold” on Solar Thermal, “CAL-Green, LEED, and you!”, “A+ to ZEB” on NetZero energy and phenomenal tours like the Platinum rated Adobe buildings in San Jose, or sustainable campuses like the Huang Engineering Quad at Stanford, and the Oshman Jewish Community Center in Mountain View.
We have so much more to share with you! Come to The J. Lohr San Jose Wine Center and be treated to taste 6 of their wines with light appetizers.
In January of 2010, J. Lohr became one of the first wineries in California to earn the Certified California Sustainable Winegrowing distinction from the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance. We will have a chance to chat with the servers and hear a lot more about their commitment to and passion for sustainability.
