Toast of Severna Park Toastmasters Club is a top rated club having achieved top ranking for 8 years in a row from 2015 to 2022. We are thriving because our members are serious about completing their professional development goals and projects. Even during the height of the pandemic, when the world shut down, we continued to meet online and never missed holding a single meeting.

We have a great mix of brand new members as well as members who have more than 20 years of Toastmasters experience. If you are serious about growing as a leader and speaker within a fun, supporting, and professional environment this is the club for you. You can be at any level of development as a leader and speaker and you will find our club to be most supportive of your development goals.

We welcome guests online and in person from any global location to attend for free as a guest. Each club has its own unique culture. At this club we believe everyone has some inner gift and we encourage everyone to hone and project this gift with abandonment.

Mentorship, camaraderie, and humor are integral aspects of this club. Several professional public speakers and authors who deliver keynotes, inspirational, and humorous speeches all around the world are members of our club and we actively participate in speech contests. As you deliver your speeches, our experienced members will give you constructive feedback so you can improve.

We welcome inquiries for speakers and workshop facilitators for online or in person events. Our members can also host, moderate, or create programming, and provide public speaking coaching services for public events.

Dr. Mansur Hasib is a multi-award winning cybersecurity leader, keynote speaker, voice actor, and author whose passion is to bring out the greatness that exists in everyone. He hosts a weekly video podcast called Conversations with #DrCybersecurity where anyone can come and ask him questions about personal development, careers, education, leadership, or public speaking. In 2017 (ISC)2 named Dr. Mansur Hasib a “Rock Star” of cybersecurity and awarded him an electric guitar as part of the (ISC)2 Americas Information Security Leadership Award (ISLA) for leading the implementation of a Master of Science in Cybersecurity Technology program serving almost 5,000 students globally at a major university. In 2018 the Global Cybersecurity Observatory based in Europe inducted Dr. Hasib into the Hall of Fame. In 2018 and 2019 SC Magazine awarded Dr. Hasib’s program back to back Best Cybersecurity Higher Education Program in the USA awards, which was featured on WMAR-TV ABC. In 2019 Dr. Hasib received the Outstanding Global Leadership in Cybersecurity award at the ICSIC 2019 conference held in Toronto, Canada.

Dr. Hasib has 30 years of experience (including 12 as Chief Information Officer) leading organizational transformations through digital leadership and cybersecurity strategy in healthcare, biotechnology, education, and energy.
