Description

User Experience, Human Computer Interaction, Design Thinking; all these are fundamental concepts involved in developing and designing literally everything. From tweets and hashtags to a Python wrapper class, TNewTech is bringing in the experts to talk about design from the perspective necessary to succeed in today's competitive world.

Speakers:

Scott Radcliff, Lead Software Engineer at Whitelable Collaborative will be talking about UI design from a cognitive/engineering perspective.

Jerry Schnepp is a technologist, designer, and creative problem-solver. He is an Assistant Professor of Visual Communication Technology in the College of Technology, Architecture and Applied Engineering, where he teaches courses in Interactive Media, User Experience and Digital Photography. As director of the Collab Lab, he helps students and faculty form effective cross-disciplinary teams to collaboratively work on innovative ideas.

Nate Walke is a designer through and though with multiple companies spanning promotional media and web development. His recent venture however is Code City, a weekly tedX style meetup that gets people together to be inspired and make life change, which ultimately results in city change. Code City is specifically designed for this time, city, and community.
