Dear Colleagues and Friends,

Tech Networks of Boston (TNB) hosts roundtables every other Friday afternoon. These are informal discussions and presentations, on a wide range of topics of interest to TNB's staff, clients, and friends.

On October 11th, Eric Segal will be our featured guest. He is the president and a co-founder of the Data Collaborative, a firm in Arlington that works locally and internationally with mission-based organizations.

Eric and his Data Collaborative colleagues have been using cloud-based systems since 1999, well before the era of "the cloud". They have used Salesforce, Intuit QuickBase, Method and others as appropriate for each organization.

In this Roundtable session, Eric will provide an introduction to cloud databases,  describing how they can assist nonprofit professionals, and describing plussses and minuses of various products.

Please note that this will not be a sales pitch for any product or for the Data Collaborative's consulting services; it will be an educational opportunity for nonprofit professionals to learn along with their peers from other organizations.

We hope that you'll join us on October 11th!

Best regards from Deborah
