1. You can only submit 1 song each week.

2. You must email your song to the1civilian@gmail.com. It can be a YouTube, Spotify, apple link or a mp3 file.

Put the name of the artist and the title of the song or poem.

3. Pay eventbrite here or Cash app $5 to $the1civilian with the name of the artist and the title of the song or poem. We will not listen without payment. ONLY PAY ONCE!

4. The top 9 finailsts will be posted on our Instagram page where people can like and vote on those 9 videos. The voting will be open for 48 hours. Whoever gets the most likes and votes during that time wins $100 and a feature performance at our upcoming event.

5. We are open to all performers, including any type of music, comedy, poetry, etc. We believe in freedom of expression, but reserve the right to use our discretion in case of derogatory or offensive subjects.

6. Songs must be submitted by Thursday each week at 12am to allow us time to review and post songs for voting by Saturday morning. We will go live on instagram and zoom starting Saturday at 12pm to announce the 9 finalists. Voting will then open until Monday 12pm. The winner be will announced Tuesday and will receive their $100 cash app the same day. Any songs submitted after Thursday will go for the next week if payment has been made.
