TMC Clinical Research Professional Training and Education Committee in conjunction with Texas Chapter - SOCRA Houston/ Galveston Presents:

About this event

METS is a TMC monthly education and training series.

This series is designed to serve as a monthly training and educational event for clinical research professionals on the TMC campus. The series will be of interest for all clinical research professionals and is open to personnel from all TMC Member Institutions. SoCRA continuing education unit (1) available for attendees.

Learning Objectives

  1. Understand the reasons why we need diverse participants in all research studies
  2. Recommendations on how to recruit diverse patients within your community 
  3. Ensure outreach and marketing efforts reflect the specific study and participants you are recruiting for within your community
  4. Ensure your site staff are familiar with recruiting diverse participants and how you will could potentially overcome any challenges at your site
  5. Ensure your site is working with the sponsor and CRO to ensure you are successful in recruiting diverse participants
