Are you interested in connecting and working for companies such as Novartis, Bayer, GE Healthcare, MareCura, Abbvie or Pfizer? Meet them at TSLC Internship Matchmaking Day!


We are repeating last years success! Welcome to our Internship Matchmaking Day - a matchmaking event between industry and students / PhD-candidates within life science! YOU will establish new connections and first point of contact to relevant companies, and a possible future job.


WHY INTERNSHIP MATCHMAKING?
With the Internship Matchmaking Day we create a meeting arena for life science companies and prospective internship candidates to meet each other. Candidates will achieve a better understanding of the opportunities companies offer, while companies may screen for potential internship candidates. Interviews are short, just 10 minutes, to provide time to conduct many meetings.


There is no fee for participating at the TLSC Internship Matchmaking Day. At registration you also sign up for the get-together where you may do follow-up questions or simply mingle and meet friends. The event is hosted by The Life Science Cluster and Science for Society. More companies will be included shortly, stay updated at this event site, TSLC Facebook site or SFS facebook site.


SOCIAL GET-TOGETHER AFTER EVENT
Oslo Science Park, Forum, on June 5th from 12:30. After the event, we arrange a social get-together for companies & candidates in our new biotech incubator ShareLab. We promise food, drinks, a guided tour of the incubator & good atmosphere.

Novartis

Bayer
Bayer is a German Life Science company with a more than 150-year history and core competencies in the areas of health care and agriculture. GE Healthcare
GE Healthcare is an global manufacturer and distributor of diagnostic imaging agents, medical diagnostic equipment including CT image machines, and healthcare technological solutions for medical imaging and information technologies.

Pfizer
Pfizer Inc. is an American global pharmaceutical corporation headquartered in New York City. It is among the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. Pfizer develops and produces medicines and vaccines for a wide range of medical disciplines, including immunology, oncology, cardiology, diabetology/endocrinology, and neurology. Pfizer has made numerous acquisitions and made more than 140 new research and development collaborations in 2016. Pfizer’s research and development department includes over 10.000 employers and have an annual budget > 7.9 billion $.

Abbvie
Abbvie's 29000 employees are scientists, researchers, communicators, manufacturing specialists and regulatory experts located around the globe. Goal is to come up with new approaches to addressing today’s health issues - from life-threatening illness to chronic conditions.

Abbvie target specific difficult-to-cure diseases where they can leverage core R&D expertise to advance science. There is constant work in progress to create solutions that go beyond treating the illness to have a positive impact on patients’ lives, on societies - and on science itself.

MareCura
MareCura is a novel company but based upon 50 years of European R&D, and with focus on developing micro-algae processes and products. MareCura comprises a high commercial and academic standing and a strong products knowledge among board majority owners. Currently, new projects are developed with our Norwegian partners.

ZONAI
ZONAI is a medtech company, and we target a global market. ZONAI provide the Wrap it bag, made of bio-material and customized for disposal of sanitary pads and tampongs. Problems we solve: - Sorting biological waste will be safer - Vi improve quality of life and provide safety: by giving Wrap it, we helping women to dispose, and review blood condition and health.

Life Science Team
Life Science Team is a newly established company delivering consultant services for life science companies. Projects varies along companies whole value chain in developing products/services – from idea phase to commercialization.

At TSLC Internship Matchmaking Day we will look for candidates across the life science field (biology, medicine, chemistry, bioinformatics, etc). In addition, we seek candidates with non-life science educational background, but attractive and sought-after in the sector (lawyer, accountant, business developer, computer scienctist, etc). We want to talk with candidates interested in working as independent consultants on our consultant platform.

Innovatera
Innovatera is a start-up company, working with world-leading scientists in bringing new health technologies to the Norwegian market. Their focus is on the supplement category providing products to consumers which are innovative, scientifically documented, and of premium quality.

They are looking for candidates interested in joining a start-up company, working in the commercialization phase. Particularly they are looking for talented individuals to take part in the development of their marketing strategy.

iNANOD
iNANOD is a newly established bio-tech company in Oslo, Norway. iNANOD utilizes nanotechnology to improve drug delivery within oncology, allowing for more targeted delivery of cancer medicines.

Current developments in nanomedicine research has inspired iNANOD co-founders to start an entrepreneurial journey utilizing nanotechnology to improve cancer treatment. iNANOD`s research is based on a nanotechnology-based platform, improving the efficacy and reducing side-effects of chemotherapeutic medications by optimizing drug delivery platform. This approach will ensure an optimal targeting and concentration of delivered drug to the diseased tissue. Our mission is to commercialize the research to benefit patients and society.

Lion Healthcare
Lion Healthcare is a Norwegian biotech company debeloping next generation’s solutions for prevention of type 2 diabetes and early stage type 2 diabetes treatment support. Problem we are solving is there are 420 millions type 2 diabetics in the world, majority of them live in developing countries without proper access to healthcare. Our solution is effective, affordable and sustainable. We provide these solution. In addition, our solution help prevent TDM and help tthe developed World save their health budgets.
