Event description

About this event

Register now for a TLR kickstart weekend of teaching, equipping and training.

*This event will be different than others. Normally we start on Friday morning with teachings, but instead we will start this kickstart event on Friday afternoon at 2pm with an Open Air preaching on the street, where we will go out with megaphone to share Gospel and to demonstrate the Kingdom of God by healing the sick and cast out demons.

During the Open Air preaching, there will be also an opportunity to receive personal prayers for healing, deliverance or to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Everyone is welcome to join either to go out with the Gospel together with us or to get prayed for.

We will start with Open Air preaching at 2pm at this address:

Luneta Park, Roxas Boulevard, Ermita, Manila*

In the evening we will start the kickstart teaching at 6pm at the following address:

Parañaque Sport Complex, Brgy. San Antonio, Parañaque City, 1700 Metro Manila.( near Parañaque City Hall)

About this Event:

You will be trained and activated (kick-started) to step out in faith: healing the sick, preaching the Gospel, baptizing in water and in the Holy Spirit, and making disciples. You will receive solid Bible teaching, and we will also go out on the streets in small groups to help ‘kickstart’ you.

In the Book of Acts, we read that God was using ordinary people to do extraordinary things. The church was growing fast and believers were being filled with the Holy Spirit, and the disciples preached, healed, delivered, and baptized in water and in the Holy Spirit.

The apostle Paul emphasizes the importance of acting in (supernatural) power:

‘My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.’ (1 Cor. 2:4-5, NIV)

This was the ‘normal Christian life’ for a disciple of Jesus Christ. Is this kind of life still for today? Are we as disciples of Jesus still called to do these same ‘Acts’?

Yes! We believe this is still for today and for every believer who wants to be a disciple of the Lord Jesus.

Jón Bjarnastein and his team will run the seminar.

PLEASE NOTICE: Torben Sondergaard is not attending this seminar!

Our Kickstart seminar is a 3-days, hands-on teaching on discipleship. The teachings will be very practical and will include going out on the streets, healing the sick, and preaching the gospel.
