Official Titusville Christmas Parade Info/Rules – 2017


Deadline for registration and payment is Friday December 1, 2017.
Registration Fees:

Non-Profit: $50 and includes:
i. One parade float entry
ii.Social Media recognition on parade FB page

Regular (most entries): $60 and includes :
i. One parade float entry
ii.Social Media recognition on parade FB page

Sponsorship: $100 and includes:
i. One parade float entry
ii. Recognition, with logo, on all Kiwanis Social Media pages
iii.Recognition, with logo, at registration booth
iv.Special recognition to all parade viewers which is company logo projected on a screen located on the Kiwanis Float.

The staging area (Titusville High School) will be open to parade participants at 11:00 a.m. on parade day. Participants will be staged in rows on a "first come first serve" basis contingent on float size and row availability.

THERE WILL BE NO PARKING ALLOWED IN THE STAGING AREA.

If you are dropping off participants for the parade, you MUST park OUTSIDE of the staging area and walk in.

Entry to the staging area must be from the SOUTHBOUND lanes of U.S. 1. Parade entries will enter the staging area via Pinehurst Avenue Only.

Entries must be in line no later than 3:30 p.m. on parade day.

All Riders and Walkers must be in place no later than 5:00 p.m. on parade day (The gates will be closed at that time)

Floats are NOT to exceed 8 ft long and 14 ft tall.

No Santa on floats/entries; there will be an official Santa at the end of the parade.

Candy can NOT be THROWN from floats/vehicles/trailers. It may ONLY BE HANDED OUT to parade viewers. This is a serious safety issue. Violators are subject to removal and may not be allowed to enter future parades.

Distribution of any material deemed inappropriate for children will not be tolerated and the offending organization may not be allowed entry into future parades.

There must be an adult on floats that include children.

Parade numbers (provided at registration) must be placed on the right side (passenger side) of the float/vehicle for judging purposes.

It is the responsibility of parents with children participating in the parade to make necessary arrangements to have children met and picked up at designated locations after parade.

No one may get on/off a float or entry once it has started.

All parade entries will be judged based on the following categories: Best Lights, Best Music, Best Children’s Display, Best Theme and Grand Champion.

No alcoholic beverages are permitted at any time – before or during parade.
