Wilgens:

Wilgens was born 05/12/1990, in Cap-Haitien, Haiti. He moved to the United States in march of 2000. His first musical experiences were in middle school orchestra, playing the violin. After high school he completely put the violin down and has barely touched it since. Piano was the first instrument he properly learned, and even though he's been playing it longer than anything else, he never really developed a strong connection with the instrument. The first instrument Wilgens fell in love with was the trumpet. Just like the trumpet, he just decided one day that he was going to pick up the electric bass, and he did. He actually started practicing scales on his arm, before he could get his hands on a bass. Luckily for him, he had a friend who didn’t play bass but he had just purchased one. Wilgens borrowed it from him and kept it for about a year or so, until he finally got his own bass for his 21st birthday.
