Tips + Tricks to "Perfect Scholarship & University Interviews"
Sun 14 May 2017, 11:00 – 18:00 Malaysia Time Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) Time
This workshop is just for you! If you are looking to land a spot in your dream university or looking to pursue your dream degree (without breaking your parents' retirement fund); then you're at the right place.
Interviews are a requirement for all university placement as well as scholarships; where interviewers assess whether you are fit for the university or can excel in the degrees chosen.
Many high-scoring students that made it through preliminary requirements with excellent results fall short in their performance during the interviews.
Interviewers often cite problems such as lack of confidence, inability to carry oneself through a conversation and unable to answer difficult "where do you see yourself in 5 years?"-equivalent questions, as the reasons why students fail their interviews.
WHAT WILL YOU ACHIEVE WITH THIS ONE-DAY WORKSHOP?
You will learn to impress your interviewers with your essay (if you're lucky, then you might just be the next Malaysian accepted to 8 Ivy Leagues)
You will learn to carry good vibes throughout the interview - no #awkward silence
You will learn to answer difficult - but surprisingly common - questions
You will learn to navigate around difficult questions - if you don't know the answer to it
You will have first-hand experience on how interviews are conducted - BEFORE your actual interviews
You will learn the do's and don'ts of interviews (because common sense is not too common anymore)
Receive notes and merchandise worth RM 25 for every ticket purchased!
Bountiful knowledge that will prepare you for any future university/scholarship interviews (up until Ph.D - if you are aiming for that)
