Tips 'n' Sips
Did you know Saturday 1 October is International Coffee Day? So why not come on over to Paradox Centre for some ‘Tips n Sips’
Because you should never trust a person that doesn’t drink coffee, in addition to the well known fact that before you drink it, you have no idea how awesome you are truly going to be (we jest), Andrea Corbett of F.O.C.U.S Workouts and Monica Imbert, The Baking BodyBuilder, are joining forces to bring to you ‘Tips n Sips’ a workshop harnessing, promoting and celebrating The Five Ways to Wellbeing, oh and drinking coffee, sharing, talking and doing lots of awesome physical things.
The Five Ways to Wellbeing are a set of evidence-based actions which promote people's wellbeing and the concept of wellbeing comprises two main elements: feeling good and functioning well. Feelings of happiness, contentment, enjoyment, curiosity and engagement are characteristic of someone who has a positive experience of their life. Equally important for wellbeing is our functioning in the world. Experiencing positive relationships, having some control over one’s life and having a sense of purpose are all important attributes of wellbeing http://www.neweconomics.org/publications/entry/five-ways-to-well-being-the-evidence
