About Thomas Maier - Dr. Thomas Maier has been a Business Development Manager at Tuv Sud since July 2016. Prior to joining Tuv Sud, Thomas has accrued over 20 years of industry experience in engineering for functional safety processes within organizations such as UL, Danfoss Drives, Ericsson, Daimler-Benz, and spent time with the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission, focusing on system & software safety in fusion technology.
