Event description

Description

Fundraising events are often necessary - they raise critically-needed unrestricted funds, bring visibility to the organization, and provide opportunity for individuals and companies to provide financial support. Yet, every year, they have a tendency to cast an enormous shadow over our lives. They are daunting, exhausting, overwhelming. Through this training, we will provide you with tips on how to take control of your annual gala with an ideal communication/marketing and fundraising work plan. We will provide a timeline, go through planning elements, and emphasize the importance of coordinating your communications and fundraising efforts to ensure your event theme, program, and pitch for support is compelling and exciting. The goal is to show you how to tackle your gala step-by-step to reduce stress and improve results.

Key Takeaways:

  • Tips for how to create a timeline that reduces stress and improves results
  • Knowledge of all the communications/marketing and fundraising elements involved in planning a major event
  • The importance of integrating communications and fundraising efforts around major events and campaigns, such as galas.

This workshop will be presented by Bix Gabriel and Stephanie Arcella of TakeTwo Services
