This training will focus on the pervasive and profound impacts of trauma, and how to equip people with more effective ways to manage and overcome it. Findings from the seminal ACES research and the implications for treatment will be covered. Tools for teaching emotional regulation, developing resiliency and self-compassion will be shared and practiced.

Wayne Munchel, LCSW, is currently an Independent Consultant and Trainer with over 30 years experience working with both adults and youth with serious mental health conditions. Mr. Munchel was formerly the TAY Services Director for Stars Behavioral Health Group and developed the TAY Toolkit for CIBHS.
