TilecoTEK 2017:

Low Impact Development Strategies Seminar & Segmental Retaining Wall Design Seminar

Join us for TilecoTEK 2017.  This year TilecoTEK will consist of a two-part seminar on Wednesday, November 8, 2017.  Seminar 1 will be a Low Impact Development Strategies Seminar focusing on PaveDrain (the premier permeable articulating concrete paving surface), Armortec (the hard armor erosion control system), and Keystone Retaining Walls (the worldwide structural retaining wall systems).  Seminar 2 will be a Segmental Retaining Wall Design Seminar, which focuses on design of segmental retaining walls and a tutorial on how to use the Keystone KeyWall® Design Software.

Seminar 1: Low Impact Development Strategies Seminar

Low Impact Development (LID) is a stormwater management and land development strategy that emphasizes conservation and the use of on-site natural features integrated with engineered, small scale hydrologic controls to more closely reflect pre-development hydrologic functions.  This three-hour seminar will focus on the Low Impact Development (LID) of PaveDrain, Armortec and Keystone products.

Topics to be covered:

  • Low Impact Development (LID) solutions
  • Sustainable permeable concrete pavement for LID design and compliance with new C&C water quality rules
  • Articulated concrete block revetment systems and applications for erosion control
  • Proper utilization of segmental retaining walls in conjunction with LID practices for site development
