Sea stars, nudibranchs (aka sea slugs), sea palm kelp, octopi and seals– there is no shortage of amazing things that live in the tidepools and ocean. Bring your family out to Olympic National Park to explore tidepools and beaches of the wild Olympic coast. Learn all about the unique creatures that live in our local salty seas and about some of the things that are impacting our local oceans. Using our campus on the shores of Lake Crescent as your base, you will also have the opportunity to indulge in your creative side, enjoy a campfire, and of course relax on the shores of Lake Crescent.
Program activities and content will be geared towards students 4-12 years old. Families with children of other ages are welcome to attend the program and engage in the activities that are provided.
