De Sessions
Tijdens de 'Wisseloord Sessions' krijg je een kijkje achter de schermen. Je wordt uitgenodigd om enkele unieke optredens in de studio te zien, gegeven door een selectie van de artiesten die achter onze muren werken.
Een plek met history
Elke muziekliefhebber kent de Wisseloord Studio's als de Nederlandse poptempel waar artiesten als de Rolling Stones, The Police, Elton John, Scorpions, Chris Brown, Ilse DeLange, Iron Maiden en vele anderen hun mooiste werk hebben opgenomen.
Naast het opvallende geluid dat uit de studio's komt is Wisseloord ook een internationaal muzikale hub, waar artiesten uit de hele wereld hun vak vinden en ontwikkelen.
Unieke beleving
Kom elke eerste zondag van de maand naar onze STUDIO 1 en maak deel uit van de eerste mensen die de kans krijgen om artiesten muziek te horen uitproberen voordat ze deze aan de rest van de wereld.
THE ARTISTS OF THIS SESSION
MELVIN THOMASSON
Melvin Thomassōn, born and raised in the Dutch province Limburg, is a Dutch singer, songwriter and dancer. As a child, the music was already floating through his veins; drumming on tables and chairs to create the perfect beat. Little boy with one goal: to dominate the Dutch charts.
Thomassōn’s sound is an innovative style with strong Scandinavian and American productions, danceable beats and catchy toplines. ‘’I love that feeling when you are in a club or festival, you’re with your friends, have a few drinks, hear music and immediately realize that you can’t control yourself anymore. As if it is some kind of automatism when your head begins to nod and your feet begin to move. I think it’s essential for my work’’.
5ETRA
Petra Firbasova (5etra) was born in Slovakia. 5etra has always dreamed about being an international singer. She had a hard time seeing a role-model in Slovakia, who would give her some clarity that there is a way to achieve her goals. She aspires to become that person, whom she couldn’t find at the time. And be the image of possibility for another dreamer.
5etra’s artistry is a beautiful expression of vulnerability, born from a lifetime of passionate pursuit and dedication to her craft.
