Dimensions Forum, coordinated by Amirah Couture Inc. is hosting the first annual Dimensions Fashion Show that will take place on December 19, 2013 at Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare, Chicago, IL. The theme for this year is “Identity”: to demonstrate the excellence and creativity that meets the ambitious goals of our home countries.
Fashion is a characteristic part of our identity as Arabs and Muslims. One of the forum’s programs is a fashion show, which will be an opportunity to present our cultural and Islamic identity. The fashion show setting will be a runway, for women only, showcasing Hijabi or cultural designs made by international and national Muslim designers. The designers who are willing to participate will also have the opportunity to market and sell their looks and items to the forum attendees and guests at the bazaar. We anticipate this to be a well attended event with marketing reaching out to all the major Universities in the country as well as communities in the Chicago Area.
Dimensions, the first annual forum of the newly created Abaad Foundation, will be held in Chicago for international students from Arab-Gulf countries. It is the first forum of its kind that is being held in the United States that meets the educational, cultural, and social needs of students from the Arab-Gulf area to support them in accomplishing their mission with better quality and more creativity.
The forum offers seminars and courses that not only target and benefit students, but also the whole family. Also, one of the major components will be the multiple exhibitions that will be helpful for students such as a large exhibit by universities to facilitate admissions.
For the family, there will be youth events and also daycare facilities for the youngest of our participants. The forum focuses on experienced, knowledgeable, and attractive speakers.
The theme for this year is “Identity”: to demonstrate the excellence and creativity that meets the ambitious goals of our home countries.
