Thursday Standup Showcase #2
Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 11:00 PM to 11:59 PM (CST)
New Orleans, LA
Cassidy Henehan (New Orleans)
Cassidy Henehan has been doing stand-up comedy since 2002 and all he got was this crummy t-shirt. He's either the best comic you've never heard of or a pretty good comic that you already know about. 5'9/160/Virgo
Katie East (New Orleans)
Katie East recently moved back to Louisiana after a five-year stint in New York City performing stand up, improv and her one-woman show "Sick Girl." After improvising together, Patrice O'Neal once gave her $40 and told her to buy new clothes.
Pat Bishop (Los Angeles)
Pat is an editor for The Birthday Boys on IFC, a member of the sketch group WOMEN, and a former writer/director for Funny or Die where his video "The Wire: the Musical" won a Webby for Best Comedy Short. He got very good grades in school and still reads over 3 books a year sometimes.
Matt Wayman (Denver)
Denver's #1 Beanie Baby Comic is coming back down South. With the goal "To put the can, back in Canal", come check him out at this years Hell Yes Fest!
Lane Lonion is a comedian from Lafayette, Louisiana and co-owner of a potato farm in Henry, Louisiana. The other owner of the potato farm also has a cow farm where Lane sometimes helps out but doesn't like it all that much.
Shawn Dugas is a stand-up comic and improviser who also hosts The Choose Your Own Podcast. He currently lives in New York, but is originally from New Orleans, or at least that's what he tells people because nobody knows or care where or what Metairie is.
John F. O'Donnell (pictured): According to the Comedy Central Insider Blog, "John F. O'Donnell is one of the more explosive comics in New York City. On stage, he's like a tightly capped liter of soda filled with lit fireworks." John's been featured in the New York Times and LA Times, and he's a favorite on the 'Keith and The Girl' podcast.
