Event description

Description

What truly is most important in life? What factors lead most directly to a sense of fulfillment and meaning? For millennia, humans have asked themselves these questions. Today, the field of positive psychology seeks to answer them using an empirical, evidence-based approach.

Join the JFK University College of Psychology as it hosts this exploration of the findings and impact of positive psychology. Started as a counter-movement against what many psychologists perceived as an overemphasis on mental illness, positive psychology instead focuses on areas such as happiness, well-being, and fulfillment. The program will include a discussion of the latest findings in positive psychology, as its practitioners continue their scientific quest for the secrets to Eudaimonia, or “the good life”.

Don’t miss this chance to hear experts in the field discuss the science-based secrets to happiness.

Hosted by the College of Psychology.
