Come early for breakfast and networking at 7:30am! Presentations begin at 8am.
This month, our host institution is UT Dallas in Richardson. At this month's Forum, we will from three very exciting presenters who will educate us on the focus of UTD's research and commercialization efforts:
- Bruce Gnade, Ph.D., Vice President Research - "A UT Dallas Research Overview"
- Robert Rennakar, Ph.D., Department Head Bioengineering, Director of the Texas Biomedical Device Center - "Transforming Medical Device Innovation"
- Jonathan Shapiro, Director, Venture Development Center -
"The State of Funding & Resources in North Texas for life science companies"

bionorthTX Forum Mission: Each breakfast will serve to bring together the life science industry for networking and collaboration and to learn about the rich assets available in North Texas. Attendees will include life science executives, academic researchers and key opinion leaders, capital resources, job seekers, and service providers.
Continental breakfast will be served.
NOTE REGARDING PARKING:
The UTD campus is under construction in many areas. Parking is in Lot C, D, or PS1 which is a 5 minute walk from the Student Union building. All registered attendees will get a copy of the map and a Parking Permit prior to the event via Email. If you are not able to walk to the Student Union, we have arranged for Comet Cab shuttle service. There will be signs from the lots to the building along the way and we will have volunteers to assist.

bionorthTX is an independent, non-profit 501(c) (6) trade association serving and representing the life sciences industry in the northern region of Texas. Our members include companies, organizations, and individuals engaged in, or supportive of, research, development and commercialization of life science technologies. bionorthTX was formed in February, 2014 by industry individuals who believed that the region needed representation by companies and individuals whose focus has been, and will continue to be, centered on the life sciences. The Association’s mission is to help to foster an environment in North Texas that supports life science research, innovation and commercialization. We endeavor to increase the competitiveness of North Texas as a premier global location for biotechnology/biomedical research, education and industry.
